Swedish Heritage and Cultural Center
The Swedish Heritage & Cultural Center is the oldest public building in Montgomery County still in use. The building, known as “Old Main” school, now houses a wide variety of historical and cultural items, genealogy records, a gift shop and new exhibits each year.

The Swedish Immigrant Museum tells the history of the Swedish immigrants who settled in the Swede Bend area. The museum showcases artifacts, memorabilia and stories primarily from the 1845-1945 time period as immigrants became Swedish-Americans.
